Residentlogbook was initially developed in 2004 to track Canadian anesthesia residents’ experiences throughout their residency. It evolved into a nationwide tool used across all anesthesia programs. It served to better understand the overall experience anesthesia residents were receiving throughout the residency program and allowed program directors to track individual residents’ progress. In 2012; the Residentlogbook was endorsed by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
