Concussion assessment software in the form of a race car video game was the challenge presented to Cissec Corporation by Dr. Fraser Saunders (neurosurgeon) and Dr. Martin ten Hove (neuro-ophthalmology). The doctors have now opened the Concussion and Minor Brain Injury Clinic in Kingston, Ontario. Cissec’s computerized game incorporates memory and dual tasking aspects which the doctors will use in conjunction with their other assessment techniques to evaluate patients and make better informed decisions regarding the return to normal activities.
